A furniture store in New York City, Real Good Chairs, decided to conduct a social experiment. They decided to leave brand new chairs from their store at various locations around the city. They watched the chairs from afar, and observed the behavior of people as they interacted with the chair. Of course the chairs would get snatched immediately, so they were ready for that. The chairs has GPS units hidden under the base. In part II of the experiment, they surprised the lucky chair recipients, and interviewed them. I found the whole thing very interesting and well filmed.
