Trebek in Jeopardy 1

Alex Trebek suffered a mild heart attack.  Am I the only one who could imagine Trebek being such a pompous ass on the way to and at the hospital that the doctors at least had to consider letting him die?  Jeopardy is one of my all-time favorite game shows, but it would have been better without Alex being such an a-hole.

NEW YORK (AP) — “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek is in a Los Angeles hospital recovering from a mild heart attack.

Sony Television spokeswoman Paula Askanas said Sunday that Trebek was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Saturday. She says the 71-year-old Trebek is expected to fully recover and be back giving answers when “Jeopardy!” resumes production for a new season next month.

While he was in the hospital on Saturday, “Jeopardy!” won a Daytime Emmy award for best game show.

Trebek has been hosting “Jeopardy!” for 28 years.

    Dear Alex Trebek,

Just got done watching my favorite game show (Jeopardy).I have
been an ardent fan for about as long as I can remember- maybe
not as long as you might think since I’m a senior citizen with diminishing
memory. This brings me to the point of this Email.

I’ve noticed that there have been Jeopardy shows for all kinds
of groups e.g College week. Teen week, Celebrity week, etc
To my knowledge, there has never been a Seniors week. Maybe
I’m biased but I thought that might appeal to a lot of people.
A couple of thoughts to consider:

Minimum age – 60 or so
    Topics – commensurate with seniors

I know you’re a very busy person but if possible would appreciate
    your thoughts.
