I saw this article today and was instantly whooshed back to 1997. It was like our AOL accounts were singing out “You’ve Got Mail” and we were all being lectured for the first time about internet shopping. I am not trying to buy a Furby off some site built by Geocities.
Anyway, this is an actual article by an actual journalist.

- Shop only at sites that are secure.
- Look for sites that offer free shipping.
- Compare pricesonline. One site is pricegrabber.com.
- Don’t forget to check website’s return policy.
