The Facebook privacy issues continue to roll forward. I ran across a PCWorld article today with some great information. If you visit certain sites on the internet while you are still logged into Facebook, an application is added to Facebook without your knowledge. You can look at that application and see which friends have it installed. That is an invasion of privacy, no question about it. I browse a site and now my Facebook friends could know about it.
There are really no good answers yet of how to get around this. You can remove the applications, but they will be reinstalled next time you visit the site. One potential fix is to logoff Facebook before going to any websites…
I checked my settings today by going to Account > Application Settings and there they all were. At this point with all the privacy changes who knows how to change anything.
Is Facebook going to jump the shark because of their total lack of disregard for any kind of manageable privacy?

I think we’ll all have some decisions to make in the near future regarding our participation. Perhaps the backlash will cause Facebook to take some action?
